On the 17th of October, 2022 as the B.E.C.E began, Hon MCE and his team paid a visit to the various examination centers, to encourage the candidates participating and also make some presentations.
They were happy to meet the students who were present in their numbers partaking in the examination. In partnership with the MP for Hohoe constituency Hon. John Peter Amewu, They presented mathematical sets through the Ghana Education Service to be allocated to each student sitting for the examination numbering about 1,881 at the various centers (Fodome, Alavanyo, Franco, HEPSS and Hohoe E.P basic school).
This was to enable them have their full set of tools ready during the examination. They also presented some snacks thus yoghurts and meat pies to the various teachers, supervisors and those invigilating.
Hon MCE encouraged the students not to be afraid but be confident and put up their best so that Hohoe municipal can achieve a 100% result.
It is the hope of Hon MCE that candidates will come out successfully and get admitted into the various secondary schools so they can enjoy the free SHS policy which is the vision of the President to eradicate poverty and hunger through education.
An educated society is a healthy society, an educated society is a wealthy society. No child should be left behind because they cannot afford a secondary education. It is free and every child must enjoy it.
