The Hohoe Municipal Assembly led by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon. Daniel Noble Awume held stakeholders meeting to access work progress, site inspection, technical matters, and partial handing over.

The stakeholders include some heads of department of the Hohoe municipal assembly, representatives of the Traditional Leaders, representatives of Market women, representatives of garages, the contractors on the project, and the Consultants.

There are three (3) different contractors working on the market project. Works on lots 1 and 3 were completed and handed over to the assembly by J A Binney Company Limited and John Mok Limited.

Work on Lot 2 was in progress with over 80% completed. Drainage works, filling, and compacting were in progress to prepare the ground for pavement. The whole project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.

The team also visited the Light Industrial Area at Gbi Godenu to inspect works on the construction of 16No. Garages with 10-unit shop facility, 20-unit facility, fire post, and Police station.
