The Municipal Chief Executive Hon Andrews Teddy Ofori launched 30-day countdown to the 2021 Ghana Population and Housing Census in Hohoe in the Hohoe Municipality and also at Likpe Mate in the Guan District.
He emphasised the importance of the census for the development and growth of the society. He said the Assemblies need the data from census to plan national development activities to safe lives and promote better livelihood.
He urged the media and general public to support publicity, education and advocacy activities by conveying only reliable information and facilitate constructive discussion on issues around the Census.
The Municipal Coordinating Director also urged all stakeholders to lend their hands of support to the enumerators when they visit their communities to carry out the exercise.
