HOHOE MUNICIPALITY JOINS NATIONAL TREE PLANTING EXERCISE

Earlier today, the hohoe municipal assembly joined stakeholders, institutions, clubs, and residents in a tree planting exercise at the Hohoe Municipal Assembly premises as part of efforts to promote environmental sustainability and climate resilience.

Addressing participants, the municipal chief executive emphasized the importance of tree planting in preserving our environment, improving air quality, protecting our water bodies, and safeguarding the future of generations yet unborn. He encouraged everyone to make tree planting a continuous responsibility rather than a one-day activity.

The exercise forms part of our collective commitment to greening the municipality, restoring degraded lands, and creating a healthier environment for all.

Together, let us nurture the trees we plant today and build a greener Hohoe for tomorrow.
