Hohoe MCE visits rainstorm disaster sites in Santrokofi and Likpe

Mr Andrews Teddy Ofori, the Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has admonished citizens to carry out a regular maintenance audit on their buildings. He said there were buildings including mud ones that were constructed several decades ago, which had not seen any rehabilitation or checks on them.
Mr Ofori, who visited the Santrokofi Gbodome D/A Primary School, which had its front view ripped off, called for community mobilisation in re-roofing the structure.
He called on the management of the School to plant trees around the school to serve as windbreaks. The MCE also called on the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) and Ghana Education Service (GES) in the Municipality to regularly inspect school structures.

He said it would enable the government to assist schools in solving identified problems they might be facing.
